How does Invisalign® work?
When you book your first orthodontic appointment with us, your Lister House dentist will assess your suitability to proceed with Invisalign treatment. Once you’ve got the go-ahead, your dentist will take digital scans of your dentition so that they can map out your customised Invisalign treatment plan.
Virtually invisible and non-irritating, your Invisalign clear aligners will be tailor-made to suit each phase of your custom treatment plan, which on average could last up to 12 months. Approximately every two weeks, you will receive a new set of aligners to be worn at all times except when eating and brushing your teeth. Your tailored treatment plan will make sure your smile is aligned gently, moving only a few teeth into position at a time to avoid discomfort.
