I originally attended Lister dental surgery for a consultation for an implant. I was hesitant as, at 64, I doubted its... success. Also my other teeth were in such a mess that I didn’t think it was worth doing. Thanks to Leanne, she called In Raj to take a look and Invisiline treatment was suggested. I had my reservations, but went ahead with both an implant and Invisiline. The way my treatment has been handled has been first class. Before treatments began I had full consultations. Neil, who did the implant, and Raj, who did the Invisiline, consulted together to work out a plan. And this continued throughout my treatment. I also had composite bonding, whitening and a replacement bridge also carried out by Raj.They have both been wonderful and I have now achieved a great smile. This has boosted my confidence no end, and I never thought this would be possible. Raj urged me to trust him even when I had doubts of a successful outcome. My advice is to definitely trust him! He knows his stuff! As did Neil, and the implant was painless and looks amazing as well.I never thought at my age this would all be possible, so don’t let age put you off. I literally can’t stop smiling and have started wearing lipstick again!And don’t think that procedures will be carried out for the sake of it. Full discussions and explanations are offered along the way. For instance a second implant was not recommended due to bone structure in that area. I opted for a replacement bridge instead which Raj did and is fantastic. With bonding finishing it all off, it truly is great craftsmanship. Thank you Raj and also for all your reassurance.Don’t go to Turkey as there is no such thing as a quick fix and it is not worth the risk! It may take time, but it is so worth it.So thank you Raj, Neil, Leanne, dental nurses, reception, technicians, hygienist and all the team that has been involved with this transformation. Thoroughly recommended.I am trying to add before and after photos. I never trusted these before, and thought they were too good to be true. But believe me, mine are real!read more

I plucked up the... courage to have my teeth straightened by invisible braces (Invisalign) late last year and WOW the results have been amazing and exceeded my expectations which has given me so much confidence. Con artistsI booked online and put specifically I wanted dental implants.So I paid my £30.00 got to see a dentist had... an x ray £50 then proceeded to tell me he wasn't the implant specialist and told me all about having dentures.Then said to book to see the implant specialist and an hygienist which no doubt the implant specialist will probably cost me another £30 + the hygienist.Steer clear of these money grabbers.I will just have to put losing £80 down to experience because I'm not going back.Very angryread more

I had the Boutique tooth whitening and Neal also suggested a composite overlay on a tooth that was much smaller than the others to make my teeth look more symmetrical and it really has made the difference. He really took his time to ensure the correct colour match and shape and more importantly that I was happy with everything that was done (which is was). I... refuse to go anywhere else now as I have Raj as my dentist; he is really accommodating, calm, caring and gentle. My youngest is really anxious when he has to go for his routine appointment and Raj just instantly calms him down. Just today, I had to have my crown temporarily fixed until a prep appointment and I did have the option to see another dentist earlier in the day, but kept my appointment with Raj as I like to stick to who I know. My family and I have been looked after at this practice by Mr Mehta and his team for over 25 years as a dual patient... utilising my options through the NHS and Private system giving me multiple choices for treatment. The most important thing I can say is that I have always had excellent care. The skills used have produced brilliant results and outcomes even on the most tricky of teeth to include those requiring root canal treatment. Equally, I have been given good advice and the products that have been used on my teeth have been robust. Most of us do not like attending the dentist. Prior to coming to this surgery, I had even left the waiting room because I felt so nervous! Not this surgery, the staff made me feel very welcome and they took the care to reassure. The thought of going to a hygienist would have made me run in the opposite direction, not with Georgina she is good and puts up with me putting my hand up to take a moment.As a not particularly good patient, I have been treated with kindness and patience consistently over a long period of time. Linda and the other receptionists have always made me feel welcome and I appreciate being called by my first name. When I have needed to change appointments or needed receipts they have been very accommodating, even when they have been incredibly busy. They now have a brilliant reminder system and text is sent to your phone too, it is easy to forget an appointment when your not in any pain. I would thoroughly recommend this practice for all the family. I only wish I found them sooner and recommend you introduce your children early.read more

Horrendous place! No time for nervous patients, patients on benefits, patients with disabilities, patients who have to... bring their kids with them or patients that need a lot of work doing! Basic care for non payers with nothing offered accept nasty amalgam fillings! Rude and aggressive towards benefits claimants, victim blaming patients for bad NHS treatments! Dental nurses watch on as dentists bring patients to tears. No patience with nervous, mental health, ptsd sufferers or people with disabilities! They use student dentist to practice on immigrants and benefit claimants teeth! I was told I was given a root canal only to discover on x Ray by another dentist that there was no root canal! Absolutely worst dentist I’ve ever been to!read more

I joined this practice 5years ago when we moved to the area, and the first thing they did was to save my teeth, after I... had been told previously that I was about to lose them. With regular checks and making use of the in house hygienist they are in great condition. Recently Neil asked if I’d ever considered having my four very worn top front teeth built up. My first thoughts were it was a bit vane for a 60 year old to have this done, Neil did a mock up to show what it may look like. It was very impressive, and I had it done.
